The time has come. Having had the opportunity to reflect over Christmas, Isobel and I have decided to close 360 Integrated PR at the end of this financial year.
Retirement is not an easy thing to face, yet we feel the time is right to call it a day.
I will always be available on an independent basis to advise on reputational and communications challenges. The communications profession is changing fast, not necessarily for the better. I will not miss chasing new business, persuading clients that ‘putting it on social’ is not the answer to everything or making the case that good PR is not a subset of marketing.
Fresh purpose awaits.
So,
- For those I have dug out of a hole, you are welcome
- For those to whom I have given vision, clarity and impetus, may you continue to thrive
- For those I have disappointed, sorry
- And for those who chose someone else’s campaigns, I wish you well and hope you found our discussions worthwhile
Thank you, clients, designers, suppliers, mentors, friends, for your support over the 25 years of 360 Integrated PR.
We are so grateful to all those who have worked with Isobel and me, especially Stuart, Lisa, Erica, and Rowena; we couldn’t have succeeded without you. To the many account executives and interns who have passed through our ranks, thank you and I hope what you learnt with 360 set you on a good path.
It has (largely) been a blast. I wish you and the people you serve a successful, sustainable future. Goodbye for now.
