Witcher Crawford

Witcher Crawford is an independent, RIBA accredited architects’ practice which works primarily in the residential sector throughout the UK and overseas. The company had never used a PR consultancy before. While there is a strong architectural media sector in the UK, 360 integrated PR advised Witcher Crawford to target mainstream consumer media and enhance its online profile.

What we did for them

360 integrated PR worked closely with Witcher Crawford to craft an introductory media pack, with which we toured the leading magazines. We followed up this launch activity by developing a range of case studies and created from scratch a new photo library of projects and detail shots which we made available to the media. Most importantly, we provided journalists with expert comment on the issues they wanted to cover.

No media campaign works in isolation though, so 360 also introduced Witcher Crawford to the opportunities available through social media, professionalising their approach to Twitter, Facebook and Houzz.

Over a one year campaign, 360 integrated PR used its specialist consumer media expertise to generate high volumes of coverage in a variety of key national homebuilding and interiors titles and design blogs, including 25 Beautiful Homes, Homes and Gardens, Grand Designs, Real Homes and Self Build and Design. Contributing a range of multi-page features, case studies, commentary and advice, Witcher Crawford became a ‘go to’ company for several lifestyle journalists and editors.

We complemented this by orchestrating an upgrade to the architect’s social media profiles and content on Houzz, Facebook and Twitter, which had previously been a neglected area.

We also helped Witcher Crawford to enter projects into architectural awards schemes. With this assistance, the company won the Interiors category in the prestigious Wood Awards for its work on a contemporary staircase in a Grade II* listed manor house in Devon.

  • “Thank you for all the hard work the team have carried out to project us into the media spot light.”
